My Qualifications

I am a Psychoanalyst and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist trained at the British Association of Psychotherapist. I am, as well, Training Therapist and Supervisor of the BAP and the International Psychoanalytic Association. I am BPC registered and I am based in Finchley N12 in north London.

My approach

I consider my approach flexible enough to be able to help those with different difficulties and to promote understanding as a way of dealing with conflicts.

Areas of expertise

Emotional problems are experienced by most of us during our life, however, sometime they just do not go away and current issues interfere in our life. My areas of expertise are:

feelings of anxiety
emptiness
difficulties in making and/or sustaining relationships
destructive relationships
inability to concentrate
low self-esteem
depression
the aftermath of traumatic situations.

I work short-term and long term. I used sometimes cognitive techniques to help to alleviate symptoms.

Training therapist and teaching

I have been teaching and supervising trainees, therapist and counsellors for many years. I teach in different organisations on different subjects like technique, on supervision, time limited, etc. I give clinical seminars on a regular basis to psychotherapeutic and counselling organisations.

Supervision

I supervise in groups and individuals at organisational level and in private practice.
