My Qualifications

I am a UKCP-registered psychoanalytic psychotherapist who has been working with individuals for the last 25 years. My training organisation AGIP (Association for Individual and Group Psychotherapy) - for whom I am now a training analyst - offered an 'eclectic' training in all the major thinkers in the psychotherapy tradition including Freud, Jung, Klein and Winnicott. Over the years I have developed my thinking to embrace other psychodynamic thinkers who have new ideas to offer in the day-to-day therapeutic work. I am based in Finchley N3 in north London.

Who I work with

I see individuals for open-ended psychotherapy.

Areas of expertise

I work with whatever is brought into the session: emotional or spiritual concerns, somatic complaints, blocks to creativity, personal or relationship difficulties, issues concerning sexuality, depression, loss and bereavement as well issues to do with ethnicity, religion or culture.

Supervision

I supervise counsellors and therapists from various backgrounds and from a variety of institutions and organisations.
